was thinking the same thing... anyone got more info on the engine? I dont know anything about those.... if the block is made out of aluminum...it could be lighter than we think?

cast iron block/aluminum head is the VG series so way heavy. VQ= all aluminum and open deck block. Someone on Freshalloy is in the process of putting a VQ30DE out of a Maxima into a s14 with a 350z tranny. Thats a nice one too!

That is an insanely clean swap. I was gonna mention that the turbo looks a little crammed against the fender, but it looks like he knows what he's doing.

i heard the vg30dett weight like 900 pounds in full trim. Could be wrong
