I am going to get a daily driver at the end of summer that I can use mainly for work.My 240 will be a track/autox car and will not see much of the road. I have been talking to some people of what would be a good daily driver. The things I am looking for is something cheap, good gas mileage, little maintence involved, and something fun to drive. Some of my choices have been miata, eg civic, and even contemplated a small suv. What have some of yalls experience been with daily drivers and what would be a balance?

Yeah Hondas are good on gas and parts and stuff are fairly cheap they aren't super obsolete or anything. I think a small SUV would be more expensive insurance & gas-wise but thats just my feeling. Miata would be awesome as a daily driver in my opinion.

Yeah, I think I am going to look into a miata more. I don't care if it is slow because it handles great and if I need to hope in something fast I'll just drive my 240 ka-t.

why not a GS-R? used parts plentiful, reliable, easy to find upgrades, slap some tires on it and you've got a decent fun car to drive to work, and you have a hatch to put stuff

also, 2.5 RS, 6th gen Accord v6 (auto), or...

any Maxima with a VQ..

Yeah people are also stealing OEM wheels for 240's now haha, see chat thread about that, but seriously I would say stick with something not too flashy or whatnot.

If you want a FUN car, Hands down Miata.
I've driven just about every major car out there in the market.
Miata is FUN! Not to mention its relatively inexpensive! :aw:

94 accord w/ h22

add some nitrous, and have alot of fun! always been something ive wanted.

i drive a B16 swapped civic everyday. im planning on getting a 4 runner 5spd next year. although, you do live in texas. these michigan winters require 4wd sometimes.. anyhow, if you look at the 4 runners on ebay, there are plenty of them in the 200k+ mile club. that shit is cool. or ive been looking for a 5spd turbo volvo wagon. that shit would be cool too!

you forgot to mention that it has plenty of room for you and a chic to get it onnnn.....

for any daily driver you should focus on reliabiltiy...toyota/honda def wins that dep...if you dont like to spend tons of money on gas thena truck isnt your best choice...i say go for an older camry wagon or an accord

CRX...light, quick, economical, and since it is a Honda...dependability is a given.

i'd say get something cheap on insurance and something that doesnt have a bunch of mods available, cause you'll spend money on that and not on the 240...

I am looking at the b13 and a crx right now. Those are my last two choices, the hardest part now is to find a b13 in good condition and not modded. I have check autotrader and still looking around other places to see where I can find one.

Where did you find your b13 and how much did you get it for?
