Yes i've searched but my problem is a little different so i didnt find nothing. Well I know its got something to do with the MAF but im using the KA MAF with an SAFC. The person who had this car before me decided to use the KA MAF but ive really never seen someone use one. I have tried many Sensor settings such as 2in6out, 5in6out, 6in6out, 5in5out. But none have worked.

Am I missing something here?
When I installed my SAFC, did I need to connect a certain wire from the MAF sensor? cause ive tried many different things and it didnt seem to change anything at all.

My Car is so close to being done, please help me.
Thanks

are you using the dohc or sohc KA maf, cause there is a difference

and yes there is two wires comming off the safc that is suppose to connect to the maf signal wire by the ECU

Just get a z32 maf and be done with it.

i jus recently did a blacktop swap with a friend of mines like last week and we use the MAF from a sohc...(ka24E)...along with the plugs and sensor for it...jus need to trim the plastic piece and line up the connection with the SR...and if yur using a BOV thats not circulated make sure yu have a air/fuel controller or else yur idle will drop to about jus barely 500 rpms and move up and down at stand stills....kinda help?..hope so

it's the mafs, what is your in and out settings on the safc? it definately has something to do with the mafs, but if the airflow in/out wires weren't hooked up right, the car wouldn't run, trust me, i've unplugged them before to check.

The Maf is the DOHC and ive tried many Sensor settings and none of them do anything.

Pull out a multi meter and tell us the voltage at the MAF with key on and the voltage at the ECU with key on. You could even check it in your SAFC in sensor mode.

k ill try that test with the multimeter and see what happens

the safc has a voltage readout for the mafs and if the mafs settings don't do ANYTHING on the safc, then something is jacked up with the actual sensor.

the safc airflow percentage reading was spiking right up to ~35% when throttle was applied, and the mafs voltage reading was at about 3.5 volts.

key on it was right around .4 or .5 volts. idling it was at around 1.5 volts at ~1200-1400 rpm, with afl at ~1.5%.
