Low pressure drop 0.2psi at 15psi 80 psi tested
Dimensions:
Core Length : 24" (600mm)
Core Height: 12" (300mm)
Core Thickness: 3" (76mm)
Inlet Size: 3" o/d (76mm)
Outlet Size: 3" o/d (76mm)

Heat Exchange: 72C - 24C
Shipping will be around $35 to US and $89 to International including Canada and will take between a week to two weeks depending on the location.
The only thing about the S13 piping is that it comes with plastic/rubber pipes from the intercooler (just like stock side mount pipes) but the coldpipe is aluminum. The rest of the kits are aluminum. Kits do not come with hotpipe, but those are easy to make/get. Couplers and clamps are included as well.
The S13 full aluminum piping kits are sold out right now and probably wont be in stock for a month or so. But the plastic/rubber piping has been tested and they said there was no HP difference in the numbers they got between aluminum and plastic/rubber pipes.
NOW FOR THE PICS!!!

Are these for the KA or SR?
kings_blend
05-17-2005, 06:22 PM
Im in canada, but the kits are coming from Australia.
These are for sr, but if you think about it, the ka and sr both have the throttle body in the same area, so the cold pipe might work, and it dosnt come with a hotpipe so you can get one from HT or fab one up. The kit isnt very expensive so it could even be altered to work for the ka.
are these in stock or are er going to wait a year to get them?

Kgcm2 sells them for the exact same price on ebay, so where's the groupbuy deal?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7974551851&category=33742
I can understand if that price is temporary just to get some positive feedback, but why buy this kit if there are other cheap alternatives for $30 more that include the hotpipe, all aluminum piping, silicone couplers, and t-bolt clamps?

these kits are in stock.
I didnt know they sell them on ebay as well. But i do know that they just started selling in north america. Maybe its just a way to get noticed. The kit you found on ebay from the other seller is just a generic one. The kit KGCM2 Infinity Performance sells is an actual shop run in Australia. Who would you turst more with an intercooler kit? www.kgcm2.com is there website if you would like to review it for yourself. A lot of people are uncomfortable shopping on ebay. This way you dont have to. As soon as these kits start selling in north america the price will go up.

The ebay ones look to be the same, if you want to order, just PM me with your shipping address so I can calculate shipping (might be a little cheaper) as well as what kit you want, and your payment method, and I will email or Pm you all the details and all you gotta do is send payment and your IC kit will be shipped out on the following wednesday. ;)

The kit is available right now if you wish to purchase. The kit fits on the popup lights perfectly, but for the silivia conversion, you will need to modify the top bracket.

I want to see the actual internal core design (the charge air flow path, fin design, header design, etc), the area inside the endtanks...you should be able to get a decent picture through the endtanks.
I'd also like to see a close up of the fin design in the ambient air path (face of the core).
Thanks, if you want to email them to me it is

i would love to see the actual flow, psi drop and heat transfer numbers you guys see on this. i know who makes them and there are quite a few different numbers out there for it. for you guys running stock or close to it boost you will see heavy pressure drop. FOr the price though i guess you can't go wrong.
i would like to get feedback of people who actually have this. I'm going Ka-T and i was wondering which pipes i could and could not use. Also.... could the S14 kit be a better option. I like the polished toobing!

The s13 kit is also available with aluminum piping. The s14 kit might need a little fabbing but for the price it dosnt really matter. Note that the s13 hotside piping is not all one diameter. See the pic up top.

Here are some pics of the s13 aluminum kit installed on an s13. Note this is not my car, it belongs to Andrew Harvey, he sent me a testimonial along with some pics of his install, here it is:
I like the kit a lot and it is made very well. It is definitely worth the money I spent, considering most other kits are in the 600-1000 range. He shipped it on a Monday and I received it that Wednesday afternoon, which is incredible considering it went through customs and all. Here are some pics of when I first started the install. I will send you some more once it is done. There are only two things that you will have to do. You will have to make special brackets for the bottom or just run without them. And it doesn’t come with the coupling that goes from the turbo hot pipe to the intercooler hot pipe. You will need a 45 degree coupling to make it fit. Over all I am very impressed with the fitment on this kit. I have seen other kits that cost almost twice as much and they didn’t look as good. This kit doesn’t have any clearance issues with the hood unlike some other kits I have seen.

Guys just like every other 240 with a huge intercooler, you need to cut the bumper, itll prob fit behind the support but you might wanna cut it anyway.

Those are the hybrid or Hipro intercooler pipes. You can get them off ebay for like $350. I have them they are nice quality but huge (2.5, 2.75). They sell different kits for S13 and S14 and they include hot pipe. Just do a search for S14 or S13 incooler piping on ebay, they'll come up but sometimes you have to wait for them to put them up for bid...or you can try emailing them.

I recelntly spoke to a guy that used it on a real Silvia in Aus. He said the brackets need to be modified. But since you have a 240sx with Silvia front I doubt they will need to be modified since its still being mounted in the same location as if you had your stock front end. This is hard to answer since I cant really see how it looks. But do you understand what Im trying to get at?
