is it possible?
I've searched the forums, I got a cracked lug nut, a misthreaded lug bolt and only two nuts holding my pass front rim(4lug)... S14, zenki ...
I searched and found no specifics on how to do it.
if anybody could gimme a hand, that would be awesome

BTW, it all started with this very same problem(even same freakin nuts)

Drill out the lugs...replace the studs/nuts.

Then swap the shock.

pretty much
a carbide tip on a high power drill should take care of it. Then get real lug nuts hehe sorry that happened to you, that's a pain in the arse.

just take your time and be careful. wear eye protection and try not to get into your rim and mess it up with the drill. Might take an hour or two to get them out.

you could take off the front suspension as an assembly remove the three top nuts the swaybar endlink the lower control arm at the frame disconnect teh brake line and tie rod and remove the whole strut/spindle/LCA assembly at once

snp_ethan take a pic of the lugnut or what's left of it. That should help us get a better visual. :whip:

shocks are setup different on an s13 and an eclipse then. Eclipses probably have that fork like civics have.

that's cool, you'd have to have the car very high and tilt the brake assembly a long way i would think on an s13 to get the shock out. plus getting to the bolts and reaching around the tire to do it would suck lol

any other suggestions besides drilling in?

Christ man, with all this crying going on you could have already gotten it out. Take a drill bit slightly larger than the nut and start drilling, you've got enough of a shank to hold it and the nut is cheap enough to break apart so you'll have it ground down to nothing in no time. That is the best and easiest solution. It's not going to come off by continually asking questions about it.

Cold chisel and a hammer will work but you need to be careful not to hurt your wheels.

you could do it with a lift, but i dunno how far the brake/tire will angle down after the 2 bolts are off the shock

Just drill it out or hammer a socket around the outside to break the lug stud... its simple.

I had the same thing happen to me last weekend. Make sure you get good drill bits and have a chorded drill (cordless' battery will die a few times).

On the cracked lug, just whack it with a hammer until it breaks completely off. With the stripped one, you have to break off the lug/stud. To do this just put your breaker bar on the lug and kick the breaker bar until it breaks off the lug. You'll have a busted stud which you'll have to get replaced but at least it's fixed.

Also you should NEVER drive around with only 2 lugs holding your wheel on!! Are you trying to kill yourself?

do it right get jackstands and take the wheel off. Your wasting your time if you try to do stuff with the wheels on.
