I'm not running that agressive of a setup (16x7 0 offset pretty low on coilovers) but I still get a slight bit of wheel rub at full lock against the inner fender wells. I've learned to live with it for half a year but I plan on getting spaced out tie rods and will need to pound the wells to turn all the way. I've adjusted the caster on the tension rods but theres no setting that will eliminate wheel rub with how low the car is. Hows this done? Simple hammering? Thanks

Heres a pic of what i'm talking about taken during the winter,

5lb. hammer and a blowtorch.
blowtorch really isnt necessary, but it makes for the metal to "warp" a little bit and easier to pound on.

but just hammer it down where it rubs at and your good to go. More caster to you :)

You could try.................maybe.......................ra ising the ride height? If your lower control arm is much past being parallel to the ground then you're screwing up your handling somewhat.

Hammer will solve that no problem. Just beat it.
I think I have mine beat in an inch?
Great workout too

Would a regular hammer work or do you need something fancy? I'll probably get out there tommorow and try to beat it in with just a regular hammer and without a blow torch. westboroughpimp, I can't tell where you made your marks there lol. Do you guys recommend taking off the coilover assembly and using some swinging sledge hammer action or did you guys have plenty of room with it there and a ordinary hammer?

I need to reroute my wire harness too, i read in an old thread that theres an FAQ on it. I tore mine apart and electrical taped it but I don't think that did the job.

i didnt have to pound away the fenderwell, i just bend that lip that sticks out right in front of the coilover and re positioned the harness. All in all removing the fender was the hardest part. My wheels fit fine so far but i only have a few miles on them . The next track day, i'm gonna bring a big hammer with me just in case

d4ve, its not complicated at all, and yeah a regular hammer will work
you don't need to swing it insanely hard, just carefully pound on the area

definitely reroute the harness before you pick up some crappy electrical problems

blowtorch at sears is only $15, so.... if you're a pussy like me, it might be a good investment ;)
