View Full Version : help removing windsheild wipers

i took of a little cap and there was a nut i removed, but i dont know what to do next. Its a 96 240, im trying to remove the windsheild wipers so i can paint them black since they have lost there paint and are silver metal colored.

can anyone walk me thru it. ty for ur time in advanced. :ugh:

clean, cover up everything else and spray. no need to take off

If you ever did feel like pulling them off though, lift the arm up and pull. It pops right off.

this is coming from somebody who paints his dash and thinks his cousins 17s are sweet!!!

quit swinging on somebody elses insults to make yourself feel more of a man. all you ever do is post periods and exclaimation points. are you alwys on some sort of drug, probably yay, that ur always so excited to post!!!

im surpise those keys arent broken yet.

Well autozone did it for me for free. I didnt want to waste 15 sec of my time doing it. :fruit:

Seriously just get a manual for it if you dont know how to do it. :ghey:

Just turn the car upside down and shake it, they should fall right off. If not though, you could just pull them up, change the bearings too while your in there.

Don't listen to silviadriver he does everything the whacked ass ghetto way. Fold the wiper up, take off the nut and wiggle the wiper arm loose. Takes a little patience but it can be done.
