i have a 1990 240sx with a blacktop sr20det in it. initially everything was awesome and it ran very good, but lately it feels as though when i am in the lower rpm range (under 3000rpm) i can feel it being a lil sluggish. it feels as though it doesnt want to accelerate, but once it clears the 3000rpm mark it smoothens out a bit. i have checked for leaks and such but found nothing. any advice or suggestions? would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance

How long was it running good? A few days? A few weeks? A year?

Try some different plugs. Yours could be fouled.

i installed the profecb b/c, but i disconnected taht and went back to stock to see if that was the case, but unfortunately it was the same case :( it seems to be more sluggish right when i start driving for the first few mins.

My bet is a leak...they can be nasty to find sometimes. My friends SR had the same problem, we checked for leaks and didn't find any, changed plugs, checked the MAFS, and disconnected his B/C...and it was still doing it. So... we checked for leaks again...and found two of them. If not that a new MAFS might be the solution. good luck.
P.S. Where are you located in Canada? are you in Calgary?
