Most of the actual added TQ capability you get from an upgraded clutch is the pressure plate exerting more presure on the disk, thus changing just the disk will not give you a hell of a lot more TQ holding ability over stock, unless its a 6 or 4 puck that tend to have more agresive materials.
Most of Exedy clutches are close to stock replacment, their REAL racing clutches are extreemly expencive compared to that one listed as a kit,
Over time aswell your P-P will lose its amount of clamping forse and normaly will atleast need to be re-surfaced as will your flywheel but the other most important part to replace is the throw out bearing and the pilot bearing (which all comes in a clutch kit) and an alignment tool to put it together straight.
ACT make a kit that will hold roughly 360ft-tq for $360 shipped on ebay, which is a pretty decent price.
My stock clutch started to slip at 60k miles of which 5k miles was at .8 bar rest was stock.
If you just need a cheap disk to throw in get a maxima one from a local parts store.

im looking for something that will hold roughly 280 to 300 tq and that can be daily driven. a sprung 6 puck seems like will be the thing to go with but i drove one in a altima last nite with a lighten flywheel and its a little rough.

A normal ACT or similar clutch kit will feel pretty close to stock and will hold to around 360ft... no rough engagement

I got an sr with a clutchnet 6 puck prung and an ACT pressure plate and some times in traffic in the city i wanna get out and kick the car cause of that noise that is very loud for some reason. I have also driven the exedy 3 puck (not the thin pads) and would say that that i the best bet cause its not as bad a 6 and not as boring a a street strip!!!!
