NEW TRIXslotted & BLACK ZINC rotors/Full Brembo Brake kits from $379.00 (special pricing for Zilvia.net members)We offer a wide variety of machining and plating to customize your order to your individual preferences and purpose.
TRIXslotted and BLACK ZINC coated rotors:
Give your 240 the JDM circuit performance look with this new style. TRIXslotted rotors give maximum initial bite and stopping power for the extreme enthusiast or racer. The black zinc will wear off the contact patch only and will become silver. The hat, edges, slots and dimples of the rotor will remain black zinc. In my opinion, the silver and black zinc combo looks very nice and in appearance and resembles the look of a 2 piece rotor.

1) 4 Stock sized Zinc Coated Brembo. Your choice of drilling:
(See below for DRILLING DEFINITIONS)
All rotors are CNC machined for precision and balancing and then are Zinc coated for aesthetic appearance and to prevent rusting. (a rusted rotor will ruin the look of a nice rim and tire combo)
2) 2 Sets of PBR Metal Matrix Pads (Front and Rear):
These are the same semi metallic pads the $tillen repackages and puts their name on to sell. They create 30% less dust than stock pads.
3) Set of Steel braided lines (Front and Rear)
Made by Technafit, Steel braided lines help eliminate brake hose expansion, due to boiling fluid, which leads to a "mushy" brake pedal and eventually braid fade due to the loss in fluid pressure to the caliper. These replace and will not expand like the stock rubber brake hoses.
4) Racing Brake fluid.
The Super Blue Racing brake fluid is designed to have a higher boiling point. When conventional fluid boils, the heat causes the brake lines to expand. Bottle contain more than enough for proper bleeding of the brake system once installed.
(PACKAGE 1: STOCK 240 UPGRADE BRAKE KIT) $399.00
Kit consists of:
4 stock size drilled and slotted Zinc coated Brembo rotors
(your choice of cross drilled or dimple drilled)

ROTOR DRILLING DEFENITIONS:
The purpose of cross-drilled slotted, or dimple rotors are to dissipate heat caused by aggressive driving condition.
CROSS DRILLED: Holes are drilled through the rotor increase the surface area and to promote the dissipation of heat. It will prolong the life to the pads, rotors and improve stopping power. It also shed off water under-wet driving condition.
SLOTTED: Lines a trimmed out of the surface of the rotors to dissipate heat and increase bite. Slotted rotors will bring up the operation temperature of the braking components much faster over cross-drilled, yet it dissipates the heat at the same time. The added bite will reduce the stopping distance. Slotted rotors do not sacrifice the structural integrity of the rotor.
DIMPLED: Gives the appearance of cross-drilled rotors without sacrificing the structural integrity of the rotor. It also does not wear the pad as much as an all slotted design.
Cross-drilled/slotted or dimple/slotted will give you the best combination of performance and longevity. It will dissipate heat and increase bite for better stopping power.
The machined slot in our slotted rotors does not run over to the edge of the rotor. Slotting the rotor over the edge will weaken the structural integrity of the rotor as it creates weak points.
OTHER INFO:
Each set of rotors are custom precision CNC drilled to order, for dimple or cross-drilled and fitment for 4 and 5 lug 240s. Shipping and be $40-$45.00 depending on the kit and destination. Kit packages can weigh 80-120lbs
