who has abs and SR?

okay, i've asked people and many have said they could not use their abs due to the sr wiring. Is this true?

I have a automatic 92 s13 hatch

i PM'd you about it, but afaik it's true... but it really isn't that bad..

My ABS works with my SR...
So I must be some kind of exception.

really? who did your wiring? did you do it? is it different?

the abs brake system is seperate from the engine control. wiring in a sr will not affect the abs. At least on s13. s14 I'm not sure if the abs wires are integrated into the engine harness, I cannot see why though since their swas no stabablility and traction control for our cars.

wait a secc.... HalO how did he do it? b/c afaik the abs goes through the ecu... and my harness didn't have a wire for it... maybe i just got a non abs harness...

I dunno about the harness I got, and I dunno how the wiring was done, but I do know that my abs is working on my car. ;)
