Please help me if you can at all.
Ok, well i searched the best that i could and i cant find the answer i am looking for.
here is the deal, i will try to describe it the best that i can.
We just finished installing my Redtop Sr20 into my S14 last week.
here are the problems
1) The car will reach full running temperature in a matter of seconds from a standing cold start. at least that is what my temperature gauge inside the car is saying, but the motor does not feel warm, and the heater wont blow heat.( my bet is the temp sensor)
2) the temp sensor will read full H -> hot, but the motor will not actually be hot. as in i can touch the head, valve cover, radiator, radiator hoses and not burn the hell out of myself. They do get warm, but nothing like the temp guage is telling us. And the heater wont blow heat until it has reached the H zone.

We replaced the thermostat yesterday, and tested it before we installed it. So that isnt hte problem. Today i popped off the radi cap and let her run for about a half hour and added coolant as needed. I havent messed with the bleeder valve though. I have a Koyo Radiator, Nismo cap, stock belt driven fan, and the stock s14 electric fan. and i do not have a FMIC, so the cooling system itself is well beyond sufficient for my car. my questions are
1) Does this sound like a temp sensor problem? and if so where can i get one, and for which car should i buy it for?
2) is it safe to drive it like this even though the temp gauge is reading "Holy shit, turn that fucker off before you blow up your brand new motor" I am a bit paranoid with driving a car in the "H" zone, but i really dont have any other means of transportation at all. If you can help at all please do.

So your saying it is safe to drive now, even with the guage getting hot?

OK cool. i just got done driving it, and it was nearing the "H" range, so i pulled over and stuck a high temp thermometer in the radiator, and the thermo read near 165/170 F. This is near normal running temp correct? and in the safe zone. So now that i know that it is the temp sensor for sure, which one should i replace and which one can i use from my old KA motor? Can i use both of them from the KA, or do i need to locate B13 SEr one?
Thanks alot for the help guys.
