Hi, I'm not a newbie. I just changed my account name. I just bought a 97 se 240, but it didn't come with the factory sideskirts. How much do you think they'll cost from the dealer???

is $11,500 for a black 97 SE with 58,500 miles a good deal? The car is in perfect condition.

Your '97 didn't come with side skirts? That's wierd I thought they all did. Anyway, www.jspec.com (http://www.jspec.com) has them. I couldn't tell you a price on them though, but I'm sure they'd be cheaper than the dealer. You can e-mail them for the price. They have pretty good deals on 240sx parts, and the guy there is really nice too. I bought my GReddy MX from them, and it was the cheapest I've seen so far. It's going to be here Monday and I can hardly wait :!:
Edit: Nevermind they're used. Unless that doesn't bother you. And it says they have to charge a lot for shipping, unless it's a local pickup.

yah, that's a pretty good deal, some of those cars go up as high as 15-16k that ive seen on autotrader for the same mileage, so u got away pretty midway price-wise. lowest ive seen for a 97/98 240 manual white or black was 8k, highest was 16k, so u got away with a not bad deal. have fun with ur car man, i unfortunately may not be able to get one till my family finishes movin =[

Does your car have white guage faces and a spoiler? I thought all SE's have sideskirts.

The 97-98 is supposed to come with sideskirts, but the guy selling me his 240sx jacked them both. damn him. Yeah, my 240sx comes with a spoiler and white gauges.

it's a 97 240sx for sure. The original owner took off the sideskirts before he sold me the car. It's not a front end swap.

I think only the base model 97-98 240's have overlapping gauges. Mine are separated.

from the dealer the side skirts are about 600 and u dont exactly have place to mount them on a 95-96, u have to make holes for bolts on the parts underneath the car, otherwise the ends aren't strong enuf to hold them on

All 95-96 have overlapping guages. All 97-98 have separate ones. Base model = black guage faces. SE = white guage faces.
