Pretty in Pink...

Here are some pics of the 'near' finished project of a good friend of mine. Last time I saw/helped w/ this car it was on jackstands getting it's final spray of base coat before the cool colors. Needless to say I was quite surprised to see the final product. There are still a few more things to be added before it's all said and done.

Quite a long and detailed build, w/ hardly a single part left on the car untouched. I'm not even going to begin listing the spec sheet on this thing as it would rival the number of partners had by Jenna Jameson.

Basically this thing is a race ready show car w/ a motor and suspension to back up its good looks.

For those who attended HIN Orlando this is the same car that you saw at the Tein booth.

nice car. the exhaust needs to be lengethed somewhat to sit closer to the edge of the kit. don't want flame bursts to torch the car like the SCC coupe did. Nice car, the east coast rep of JDMRICE 2 (somewhat). Hopefully action shots and specs will be the next imtemd on order. BIGUPS :hitit:

Okay I personally don't mind the car its cool and super d1 style or whatever but NOS really come on, I know its a show car or whatever but still. I also agree that the chrome gas door needs to get taken off, especially when the car itself is a nice color. I can't believe someone thought the intercooler was on backwards like Greddy paints Greddy all the way through the intercooloer hehe. And yes it does remind me of JDMRICES car.....but I still think the car is hot don't get me wrong.

I'm diggin' the car. I really like the headlights, aero, and total look he went for. I do think that the gas cap cover has to change though, it stands out like a sore car which is hard to do on a pink car!

Also, what roll cage is that? Or is it custom?

As for the gas cap, it's actually a carbon fiber cap.

That pic makes it look a little 'chromey' I guess.

The roll cage was a weld in from Mazworx (sp).

Yes, the rear camber is off. Car is getting an alignment in the coming weeks.

As for the JDMRICE2 look a-like, the funny thing is the guy who built the car has never even seen that thing. He's the guy who spends all his time in the garage working on his own project(s) or customers and never browses online.

I totally forgot about that car till you guys mentioned it.

Guess it's inevitable when you only have so many colors/aero/conversions to choose from on the s chassis 240.
