When I turn right or left it feels like the power steering is going out, as well as a chirping sound from the belts. Happened out of the blue today and now it chirps anytime I turn and doesnt respond to well...I checked the fluid and it seemed to be fine. I popped the hood and turned the wheel and I could see the the belt wheel hesitating and kinda moving like a clock sproket. If its not the fluid, then what could it be?

Could just be a loose belt.

Check also to see if any fluid is leaking underneath the car. If so, your steering rack is going out.

Belt was loose...so i looked into why...found they issue...I really didnt know what I was looking for but i found the bolt that holds the tension on the belt had lost a nut. I replaced the nut tighted it up and it seems to be fine...

Now my question is....how tight do i tighten the belt?? Thanks for your guys help!

it should have some slack, not too much though, or else it would be loose again... probably have like 1/4 to 1/2 inch movement.
