Cliff Notes: What thermostat can i buy from the local parts store that will work in my Redtop SR20DET?

ok, so i got my redtop installed, and with a Koyo radiator none the less, and the car still gets too hot at idle, and while driving softly. I havent been hard on the car at all because i am breaking in the clutch, i havent even had it over 4k yet once, and i have only spooled like 4 or 5 times. I am using the stock electric fan, and the stock belt driven fan, so there is no reason at all for why it should be getting so hot. It also reaches full running temperature in a matter of seconds when i start it up for the first time in the morning, like 10 or 15 seconds and it is at full temp. I hope it is only the thermostat. So i need to know what thermostat i can buy at AutoZone or Pep Boys that will work in my Redtop. Thanks in advance

Ok, that is what i was wondering though. Whether the Redtop would use the B13 Sr20de one, or if it would still use the B14 Sr20de one. Either way, i ended just usign a buddies OEM Nissan SR20DET Redtop one. And where is this sr20detFAQ located?

At the top of the tech page I believe. But yeah, any sr20 thermostat will work.

For a car to warm up in a matter of seconds, I have a feeling it is a faulty ECT sender.

The working fluid just physically cannot get hot enough in the short amount of a time within the constraints of the cooling system unless it is to an open source of heat.

Also, S13 sensor on S14 chassis = bad juju. Itll show its overheating when its not.
