I'm just wondering how many people have removed the fender lining in the wheel well. I noticed for some reason yesterday while I was at a autoX event at the Milwaukee Mile that alotta cars didn't have their lining on their cars. I took my driver side off when I replaced my fender and haven't put it back on yet. Is there any negative side effects to this?

Ok thanks. I was wondering how you roll a fender with the lining in anyway.

I cut mine towards the back and left the back part on. If you completely remove it sand and gravel will accumulatein the cavity behind the wheel and add weight. Plus when you open your door you will see all the debris that has accumulated.

Thats what I was thinking would happen. I guess a regular cleaning would be nessessary then huh?

My front fenders are rolled as well. Since I still have the rear part of my fender liner I'll never have to worry about cleaning out any debris.

yeah only negative is the sand, gravel rocks ect. they could also come up and dent your fender the, so you have dents going outward on your fender lol.

im sure all that gravel in between teh fender/wheel well slows down teh car a lot....
just remove the fender lining and if your worried about gravel, leave a little bit of the lining where it attaches to the lower portion of the wheel well and fender/door

run a rear partial fender lining when you roll it otherwhise your car will end up like mine was before i got it. the stock sides fill up with dirt leaves mud etc. rotted holes from the inside out and was real nasty. really bad idea not running atleast a partial...
