Hey guys, now before anything, let it be known that ive searched here, 240sx.org, nico, ka-t etc... im still stumped.

Ok and for the scenario..
-did an auto to 5spd swap.
-mechanically everything is in place.
-as for wiring to start the car, the only thing ive done is connected the two black wires (yellow stripe and white striped) together for the park neutral switch.

Symptons:
-the car simply doesnt start. No starter clicking, nothing. Dashboard lights up, lights work, and battery does have juice (voltometer tested).

So i guess im looking for anyone who possibly knows a solution to my problem or can suggest checking anything. Any sort of posts helps.

thanks guys,
Kris

did you disconnect some grounds to the engine? the starter grounds through the motor, so that could be the problem. As long as there is power and a ground to the starter it will start reguardless if you have the alternator wired or the rest of the transmission wired.

I have a feeling your lower harness isn't totally connected. Check the ring terminal that goes on the starter and also the plug for the solenoid wire. Check your alternator while you're at it because I bet that got unplugged as well.

ya know the car would do that if you didnt connect the right wires. off the top of my head im not sure but double check you have the correct wires for the transmission in park connection. make sure you left the relay too. other than that I cant imagine what would cause that unless you changed something. do you have an alarm installed?

the starter relay.. its the top connection by the fuse box.. the two wires need to be shorted together..
