I’m considering selling my 1993 300ZX Twin Turbo, 5 speed, ultra red with black leather interior, 53,000 miles.

I will consider a trade + cash for an S13 manual coupe with SR20DET swap.

This car is absolutely immaculate and in 100% perfect running condition. Since I’ve purchased it, the only individuals who have touched the car have been: myself, YugoBernie, Spee, and Dave N. I’m sure any and all of them can attest to the car’s condition. This car NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Reasons I am considering sale:
1. I’m becoming a track junkie (although this particular car has only seen 3 HPDEs), and I’m looking into buying something cheaper and lighter that I can really thrash at the track. Which leads me to…
2. This car is *too* nice. I rarely even drive it…I’ve put less than 5k miles on it since I’ve gotten it home (I have a company car for DD). I never park it at any store or lot for fear of door dings. I use it strictly as a weekend cruiser and occasional track days.
3. Job opportunities will point me in one of 2 directions: Either I will be sent overseas, or I am going to have to buy a ridiculously overpriced house here in CT. Either way, an extra car doesn’t fit into the picture.

I purchased the car with 47k miles, 100% stock, from the original owner last summer. The original owner is an older gentleman, who lived in Florida. The car was always garaged and meticulously maintained. I have receipts from the previous owner, from the day the car was purchased (including window sticker and original invoice). The car has never seen snow and rarely rain. I have all 3 keys: the *titanium* key, the black key which I used everyday, and the red valet key.

I have receipts for every item purchased for the car. Oil has been changed religiously (at least 6 times in the 6k miles since I’ve had the car) with Mobil 1. Only 93 octane fuel. Clean Carfax, I can email you the printout from when I purchased the car.

Immediately upon purchasing the car (the next day, at 47k miles), Bernie and Spee did a full 60k maintenance including timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, fuel filter, etc. Diff and tranny later flushed with Redline as well.

The only other repairs that have been needed was the replacement of a faulty O2 sensor (fall 2004, replaced both O2 sensors with new OEM Nissan) and a #4 faulty fuel injector (performed last month, replaced with a brand new OEM Nissan 370cc injector). All other injectors ohm out to spec. ECU reads code 55.

Mechanical: Car runs 100% perfect. See profile for mods, all top-quality parts and all installed within the last year. The car dyno’d at 353 rwhp and 380 lb/ft tq (Dynapack hub dyno) at ~16 psi boost (JWT boost jets only). The motor is extremely strong. Car starts right up, even in sub-zero weather, and idles and revs perfectly. Suspension and brakes are all brand new. Transmission feels great, no problems whatsoever. Always Mobil 1 oil, Redline tranny and diff fluids, Motul brake fluid. Toyo T1-S tires with less than 4k miles on them.

Exterior: Nearly flawless. Original ultra red paint is in amazing conditions. Always cared for with Klasse synthentic wax and P21S carnauba. Car has never been in an accident. There are a few small rock chips, but so few that I can count them. Not a single door ding. Original ‘93 wing in flawless condition (no rotting). All stock except for J-spec tail lights and smoked corners. Windows were professionally tinted last fall, 35% all around.

Interior: Nearly flawless. Original black leather interior with the charcoal suede trim. Received a perfect score of 100 from ZCCA judges during the NE Z Adventure last summer. There are zero cracks in the leather, which is still soft and supple. There aren’t even wear marks on the driver’s side bolster. Leather always cared for with leatherique. All the interior panels look brand new, treated with Meguiar’s #40. Some very slight wear on the bottom of the steering wheel. Original Bose stereo/cassette/CD in working condition.

A list of the tasteful mods:
JWT Pop charger
JWT ECU & boost jets
SZ Labree super split downpipes
SZ Labree resonated test pipes
SZ Labree exhaust
NGK PFR6-11B plugs
stock turbos, injectors, & intercoolers
Stillen swaybars
RS*R Down springs
new OEM struts
ES T-rod bushings
ES rack bushings
ES front lower control arm bushings
Nismo rear strut insulator and upper bushing
SZ subframe spacers
TT rear wheels all around
Toyo T1-S, size 245-45-16
RMS Wilwood 6-piston brake kit w/ 12.5" slotted rotors
Hawk HP+ (front)
Hawk HPS pads (rear)
300 Degree BMC
Technafit SS lines
Motul fluid
custom brake ducts
JWT Street Clutch
JWT/ Fidanza lightened flywheel
SPL bronze shifter bushing
SPL chromoly fork pivot
SPL SS clutch line
Nismo roller bearing
Jspec tail lights
smoked corner lights

I also have a set of 4 NA wheels (2 with good rubber), the OEM front brake setup, and a half-dozen oil filters which may be included with the sale.

This car is ready to be used as a daily driver, a show car, or a track car, (or all of the above) depending on your preference. All the mods were selected for their high-quality from reputable vendors including CZP, SGP, SPL, and Specialty Z, and professionally installed. No ebay parts on this car. The car is extremely dependable and needs nothing.
I have included some pictures. I have hundreds of other pictures available. I can also take a video “walk around” if anyone is interested. I have numerous references who will vouch for the condition of the car. Anyone is welcome to come look at the car; however, joyrides will not be permitted (serious buyers may test drive). If you’re not local, shipping/pickup is up to you, although I will gladly help in any way possible.

For anyone who may be concerned about the trackdays: This car has been to 3 HPDEs, which totals around 5 hours of track time. The oil and fluids were changed immediately before and after each event. The car was never abused, and in fact it is probably beneficial to let the car stretch it’s legs. I have video footage of every single second the car was on the track, if you are so inclined.

The car is located in New Haven, CT. Asking price $17,900. I am in no hurry to sell it, and would like to see it go to an enthusiast. It’s getting hard to find clean, low mileage 5 speed TT’s, and this is probably one of the the nicest ones you’ll ever find. I have plenty of references on twinturbo.net.
