as the topic says, i've been having probs with my car. i have a regular shop, but they are not 2 familliar with 240s. any reference will be much appreciated. I resides in Monrovia / Arcadia, i'm hoping to find anything local.

For the most part, ask up the guys on the forums, but search it first! Being as you own a 240, i'd say go ahead and tinker. You'll only understand your car even more. I'd guess that +75% of the forum users have their garage as their first "shop" until they run into some extremely harsh problems. You could always take your car up to Superior Nissan.

very true... but in my case, i live in apt and i have no tools or much of technical skills either.. i would do it but i need a guide from some1 with experience. i'm new to the scene, and i dont know anyone who drives 240 around my area, so dont have much of a choice :(. by the way, where about superior nissan is loc?

Well, you are steps, leaps and bounds better off that other kids with 240s. Most of us started off that way also, all you need is a repair manual, a decent set of tools (preferably Craftsman), and time. I started in my apt garage too, but i moved up to my own home garage. Superior Nissan is off the 60W, at the Fullerton exit, then make a right. Pricey-ass dealership prices, Nismo quality. They are one of the few performance dealerships around. Nice people, and if you are lucky, you'll see Nomuken. Hit me up on AIM if you can't find it, or need some help. My sn is SocheatMen, or

call up R1 motor, they are in Rosemead I beleive, here is there number, 1626-282-7226, i take my car there for diganostics which is usually free. plus tehre labor rate is uber cheap and inexpensive.
