planning on doing auto>>manual swap on my car this weekend, but i have a question.. the swap that i purchased came with an s13 tranny harness, but everything else is from an s14. will there be any problems with using this in my car? i have a '98 240 by the way. please help with any feedback.

using the manual harness will be more work. Just start cutting the auto harness.

Remove auto harness. Leave VSS hooked up. Drive car.

wont he need to splice the two main wires to start the car? Park and neutral sensor.

I always tie it in inside the fusebox, eliminating the entire plug. Looks cleaner that way and doesn't butcher the harness if you plan on selling it.
