Any Weekly Socal Meets???

Just wondering if you 240 guys have any local meets in the Socal area??

I was thinking of starting bi-weekly meet in Roland hieghts. Saturday Nights at maybe 8PM? Address is 18457 E. Colima Road at a place called JO JO DINER. It's a CHEAP chinese place with awesome food. I'm mexican so don't feel like it's going to be all azns like simon :P

Anyways what do you guys think of that? However many of us go we will just split the bill. You get 3 Items for 10.99 lol. When I go to china town I pay 11 bucks for just one plate! So this place is just as good as chinatown for 1/3 the price.

Oh and they have over 100 items chicken, beef, pork, and seafood.

Rowland Heights is definitely not the best place to have a meet. It is very very cop friendly in that area.

We had a Supra meet out there one time and the Sheriff showed up and told us to never come back to the city ever again.

We can start a weekly meet in La Habra where there's quite a large parking lot that we had a huge Supra meet at before, or we can use my shop to hang out.

i remember hearing about a bi-monthly g35 meet in chino hills a few months back. i heard alot of nissans, wrx's, and others showed. apparently the last meeting was ruined by some loud ass porsche. is that meet still happening?

why do the meets have to be in the places where cops are just looking to pull people over. Why not over in the riverside area?? cops are not bad over here unless you really do something stupid.. but then again most of you are from the industry area... but riverside area is only like 25 min???

there's a frisco's carhop diner opening up in long beach if you guys are willing to drive out in the "ghetto".. lol they have "cruise nights" at the frisco's in downey wednesday & saturday nights.. we could start a weekly car meet at the new one.. depending on how big the parking lot is! ..and i'm not sure if you guys are familiar with the burger joint, but girls roll around in roller skates with short skirts! a majority of them are pretty hot! but of course, that's not the reason why we'd go.. just like how i don't go to hooters to see girls.. i ughh.. :ugh: go for the chicken wings! that's it.. good ol' chicken wings!

The old sunday night meets in diamond plaza 2 years ago where good... wasnt as bad with cops, and at that time i was all for the arcade.

Since cops seem to be an issue these days, especially near Diamond/Life Plaza, I offered my shop as a spot. No one can tell us to leave or harass us. If we can decide on a night, I'm more than willing to host. Bring your own tools and you can feel free to work on your car as well.

how about meeting up at La Puente mall? Cmon guys, they've got a 24Hour Fitness there. or thetech's shop sounds chill! can i just go there to chill sometimes? Idea is not dead, just seems like the 240 crowd is pretty fickle. I'm more than happy to host it weekly, bi-weekly or whatever, just don't wanna waste my time if people would rather hang out at In-N-Out or something. I've been working on cars for 15 years now and I don't want this to be some rice fest or anything.
