MT90's are evil! they kill your tranny!

I had 'em for a bit, i heard they screw around with your synchro, and i keep grinding my 3rd grear, so i swapped it out w/ good ol castrol gear oil. Now all is well.

kinda off topic, sorry.. but, can you refill trans oil by removing the shifter? my buddy with an MK3 does it, just wondering if it's the same with 240s..

Sure... but you still sort of need to undo the drain plug to drain it completely. And for refilling it, I would still put the car on level ground and fill it until it starts to seep out of the fill plug. But if you dont have a pump for gear oil or a small enough gear oil bottle, you can fill it through the shifter. I'd rather undo a plug and use my suction gun than get in the car while playing with oil.
