o2 sensor wire question

on my engine harness, my 02 sensor wire seems to have goten a cut on it, and some of the wires seemed to have seperated, so i tryed to soder them togeather hopeing that will fix it, my car feels normal, but im wondering if i will passs smog, since i have to get my car smoged nex week, can this cause a problem? Is there any way to replace that whole wire? ( imm talking about the wire that connect to th 02 sensor form the engine harness)

Make sure your check engine light is not illuminated while you drive, then you should be okay. Also, wrap electrical tape around the exposed wire so that it doesn't ground out.
