as you know, most FMIC requires you to cut into the tray like below

I am lead to believe that my westco battery might be dying. I was wondering what kind of optima battery you guys run that's small enough to fit into the said space, after fmic install?

Just re-locate the battery to the trunk/hatch. Run any size battery you like. :D

Run an Odyssey PC680 with auto terminals from ebay. It's been working great for me for about a year now.

go get a wal mart amp wiring kit and a marine battery box, and some cheap ass battery from the gas station of your choosing.

i wouldnt suggest using power wire from a walmart amp wiring kit for your battery as its probably 8ga or smaller, go on ebay and spend the $50, my kit came with the battery case and some nice 2ga wire for the ground/power.

Just use a wheel chair battery, I have been using mine for like 2.5 years and no problems yet.
