The faq on the forum said that the conversion for the shark eyes 97-98 kouki would cost $1200 total for fenders, hood, bumper, lights, etc. Anywhere else they have a better price or is it better for me just order all brand new parts from the dealership? The search all came out was on WTB S14 Kouki conversion.

yep im with dousan...... fb fenders 325 for the pair..., going oem is nice but its expensive if ur buying from the dealerships.. used oem is the best u can get.... most websites that sell fenders and stuff barely ever carry the 97-98 ones.

my suggestion for CHEAP
headlights and corners new
you dont need the support, you can drill stock zenki one, friend did that, comes out fine. dont care whatpeople say
fenders can go FRP wide if you want
hood: cheap CF or used oem
turn signals: route into corners instead (no need to buy signals)
bumper: frp or usdm oem.
what im doing:
new oem headligths/corners
frp msports vented hood
oem fenders
frp origin bumper

Dousan - Are you keeping the Zenki front end?
Kyo Kusanagi - Who's that in your avatar? http://www.nissan-auto-dealer-parts.com is a good site IMO

nah going kouki but never selling the zenki front
i want both
i love them both in their own way. so special
and those brand new headlights i got from russ, cant sell them because zenki owners are mostly cheap fucks.

i think the kouki front dosent line up w/ the S14 lol
if you have an edgy kit and maybe overfenders...but stock, i dont think it lines up well

Hmm...ordering from nissan parts will i think cost me $1500 or 2g's. Looking up the classifieds on Zilvia or other forums will be cheaper, just want to be sure its oem and fitment will be okay...

Kouki fronts belong in the trash, Zenki fronts belong everywhere else.
I sold my Kouki front for $1100 used, so there's plenty of room to negotiate prices, I would have taken less just to get that god awful shit out of my driveway.

I think conversions are too expensive for zenki owners.

I don't agree with the kouki fronts belonging in the trash, but I do agree with the zenki fronts belonging everwhere else, you can see them all the time on 93-97 alitimas

I was going to keep my zenki until I got in an accident.
also what I did was learn to drift and do stupid shit with my zenki front end on so I could just replace a zenki with a kouki after crashing it. instead of crashing a kouki with the whole 9 yards done.
zenki's are cool as fuck, but they are just so common. plus when done right they are both very hawt.
I spent alot so far.
full version select type1 with overfenders : 1100
Headlights and corner lights:446 shipped to my door
hood:440
jdm bumper lights:78 shipped
just a little over 2000 without paint.
I also got a fender roller for 250 and I picked up a set of gramlight 57pro 18x10 +0 offset 18X9 +17 for 1800 I still need tires :(
and tanabe sustec pro's for 1100. plus a clutch.. which was 500 installed.
with a total of $5464 roughly
so basically what I am saying by adding all this shit up is:
you gotta pay to PLAY!
hehe...
but one thing I know... ma car is going to be pimp shit when its all put together...
I just need engine shit. :)

Seriously... kouki lights do look like accord lights. I've seen some that you cant even tell if its an accord or a kouki.
But now who coppied who. Was it nissan, toyota, or honda first.

Now that all other cars seen to come into question whether they are kouki or zenki, here is one for ya. Even though its a truck, kinda looks like chevy picked up on the look 5 years after kouki's were out of production

?? how does that look like a kouki?
it is stupid to say which is better, kouki and zenki fronts look completely different. there is no such thing as better because it is a personal opinion. i think zenki can look really good if done right, but kouki does it for me.

I think they both rawk! just the kouki's are rarer, which is what I like my self.... when you see a kouki you are like " oh shit a kouki!" and when you see a zenki.. you are most likely going to say... " oh look a 240sx"
oh shit and just plain oh are very different...
