What other rotor alternative options do I have if I want to run Q45 front calipers on a 4x114.3 . Will 1999 G20 rotors in 4lug fit the calipers?
Thanks,
Kho-ah

I had a G20 back in the day and now I have the Q45 setup on my 240. The G20 rotors are barley if at all bigger than stock S13 rotors. As for them working, I have no idea.

1998 altima rotors are exactly what you are looking for
same size and the bolt pattern is 4x114.3

If they are im gonna be pissed cause I paid quite a bit to have my power slot rotors cnc'ed to 4 lug.

why dont you guys just call the dealer

Cause the dealer is stupid as shit and tends to say this, "It will only work on the car it was made for." :)

Spec's I see are that the rotors(altima) are 280mm(11") but only 22mm thick. Am I right or wrong?
Also, what is the "Full Active Suspension" on the Q45 and how does it afect caliper choice?

altima rotors dont work, i looked on brembos site. theres no 4lug rotor on any nissan, infinity, toyota, mazda that will work with q45 calipers. if you look at brembos site and go to the pdf it shows diameter, thickness, and height. theres nothing that comes close enough thats 4 lug to be safe. Someone on freshalloy says he has the setup working. hes full of shit

the "active suspension" on the early Q45 is in essence the same as the electric dampners on the Z32 and WD21 Pathfinders. Nissan decided to be different when they named the system. Anyone needs Infiniti parts im you man, I'm on the parts counter at an Infiniti dealer

I'll have to get with my boss on monday to see what I can do..... I can also get Nissan parts since we're a Nissan dealer too, maybe 20% off retail or something like that, I'm gonna be in charge of internet sales here so I'll have pretty much free reign.

Altima U13 (93-97) and L30 (98-01) have 4 lug rotors... Both should have the same spec on them. the 1st gen (U13) parts are cheaper than L30 I think...
Hope it helps.

ok, I went to my local autozone today with a stock 4-lug rotor off my s13, an infiniti Q45 5-lug rotor, and I requested to check out a 98 altima 4-lug rotor.
Here are my findings.
bolt pattern - identical
diameter - might be a fraction smaller, but not noticeable.
thickness of the rotor - big difference. The Q45 rotor is much thicker than the altima rotor, I'd say by at least 1/8" (this is eyeballin only, don't quote me on that) Then I asked the dude. . So do you think it will clamp? He said, probably not.
If they are indeed 22mm, q45 rotors are 1mm thinner than the zbrake 28mm rotors, so that makes it 5mm difference in thickness.
Sooooo. . . I really wanna know if anybody is running Altima rotors on their q45 brake conversion. If so, lemme see some pics!

1990-1996 Q45's have front brake rotor dimensions of:
Brake Rotor Dimensions
Outer Diameter 11.02 in (280 mm)
Standard Thickness 1.10 in (28.0 mm)
I have done A LOT of research and I just measured my rotors, exactly 28mm thick and 11 inches in diameter.

Hmmm.... very good information. Going from memory.......isn't this the same size as the 300zx rotors??? I'm looking to do the Z32 upgrade also and would love to not redrill Z32 rotors.
And I'm guessing the 90 - 96 Q45 rotors are 4 lug right? Cause the post above you claimed they were 5 lug.

Nevermind I looked it up real quick, Z32 rotors are 280mm x 30mm.

i got some q45 brakes, and i was wondering what kind of good racing/street pads were made for it. all the good pads ive wanted to put on it arent made for the q45 brakes.

try Fastbrakes.com, they sell a complete q45 upgrade for 4 lug 240sx for 400 bucks, but if you talk to them, they might be able to sell you 11 inch 4 lug q45 rotors. Worth a try.

Any of you guys looked into the new Sentra SE-R Brembo Calipers/Rotors.
They are 4 lug, and a guy I know said he had test fitted them to an S13 spindle and the bolts on the caliper were the same spacing/size and bolted right on..
So technically those brakes should be a direct bolt on upgrade, unless the distance between the center of the hub and the mounting ears on the S13 and SE-R are different...
Theres a set of calipers for sale right now for 150$.. so it doesnt seem like it would be that expensive...Worth a try...
