Hey, just wondering what some of you guys are using for spark plugs in your KA's. I've seen the NGK iridium plugs and the BOSCH quaddros (something like that) and wondering if they are worth the extra cost or just stick with the standard NGK plugs.

I've got Denso Iridiums. There is no distinguishable performance gain. Just a LOT longer service life. If you don't have the money for them or the NGK ones just get some coppers. They have a shorter life but they do the job just fine. You shouldn't really need any ignition upgrades until higher horsepower levels. See Ivan's posts for more on that.

^^^ Me too, Platinum plugs are SHIT... If you go to your local autoparts store, ask them for the NGK plugs, specifically requesting the ones for a 98 altima, this will get you the copper ones

It's not just the Bosch platinum plugs, platinum itself is less conductive than copper, the advantage it has is that has better longevity, while still being "good enough," to be daily driven... Personally, for the difference in cost, I don't mind changing the plugs more often.

^I love that sig. When you change your plugs get some anti-seize on the threads when you put them in.

LOL, I was scrolling down and just realized I had been staring at that gif for like 2 minutes. Spaced right the

Oh yea, spark plugs. I use NGK iridium in 240, and NGK copper in supra, change em all the time and get good performance all the time too! Might switch to copper for 240 when I need to.
