Legislation (H.B. 1330) that would effectively prohibit the use of exhaust systems other than a “factory-installed muffler” or a “muffler meeting factory specifications” has been reintroduced in the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives by Representative Michael K. Hanna (Phone: 717/772-2283, Fax: 717/787-4137). The bill has been referred to the House Transportation Committee

you could probably get away with a RSR ex-mag or a equivalant lower profile 'quieter' exhaust...

While this seems bad on paper, they don't enforce shit like this in PA too much like they do in Cali.

THE EX MAG would prolly be about as loud as some of our aged rusted S13 pipes.

Cali is next with this crap. I'm going to move to a state where they don't give a shit.

It'll probably be like here in VA, keep it calm and no one cares. at least in my neck of the woods (Richmond) I hear NOVA is a PITA for exhausts. But again, if you keep it calm, no revving or full throttle blasts, and you'll be fine.

i'm not so sure if this would pass though guys.....it took MA legislators at least 3 tries before they were finally able to pass their dumbass no aftermarket exhaust law.......i'm going to talk with SEMA about this on Monday and see what i can find out

That's about how the FL muffler law reads. It's been on the books since 1972... Enforcement is a whole nother thing. Who is to say what "factory specifications" is?
