did you make it yourself? did you seam weld it yourself too? im lookinh into getting a cheap welder and seem welding my car and getting a cage too.

and to answer some questions
1 yes its way hard to get in and out (seat had to go through sun roof)
2 i didnt do it myself
3 its going to be my daily driver/track car
4 the next step is paint (r32 kh2 gun grey)

is the cage built to spec? like FIA/SCCA/NASA, etc?
and what did you use to get rid of the sealant on those body parts that you had welded?

I was just going to say good luck trying to get the seats in after looking at the pictures, but I guess you took care of that! I hope you don't tear up your knee when you track the car because that looks really tight in there.

its not built to spec. cause i dont belive i can run in any class. my car is out of spec.
and i used a wire wheel to get that stuff off.


and the type of racing is more Free runs at the track or some drifting/drag racing. anything i can do really. its my fun car

oh and not really its about .... ummm i want to say 100lbs cause its cromolly but i dont know. i should have weighed the car. but im sure its about the same as all the interior parts.

dude, dont use a cheap welder to seam weld your car, you'll burn through all your sheet metal and then have nothing to seam weld left.

jesus christ! that thing makes my bolt in autopower look wimpy! Have you seen cages that go throught the firewall to the front strut tower. Than strut tower to the radiator support? Total stiffness!

How tall are u??? it's looks like that bar @ the B pilar is a lil forward..hope u are small cos that will leave u minimum space...
compliment on the quality of the person who done the cage. But daily driven?? really?? wow. good luck bro. C

im about 5 10 i had to order bride seat rails so i didnt hit the bar.
