I had a question....did you just sprayed right over the chrome? Was it flakeing before you sprayed it and what did you do to prep the surface? I have set that I want to paint but don't want to mess it up and tips would be cool....Here's a free bump!!!

i used paint stripper and them sanded with my hand the surface so its rough and can take paint. then sprayed about 5-6 coats over a period of 4 hours. then 3 clear coats. and bling bling.

Hey thanks for the info, so you was able to strip the chrome with using paint stripper? what did you use with the paint stripper to take the chrome off? (ie: dipped sand paper in the paint stripper and started sanding?) Need a little bit more detailed info on how you took the chrome off.....Just Pm me if you like instead of keeping this post open....Thanks!!!
