I just pulled my KA24DET and dropped in *shocker* a black top s13 SR20DET.

Here is my mod list what numbers do you think I will pull on the Dyno.

3" Turbo Elbow
3" Downpipe and Exhaust (no cat)
FMIC 11x24x3 (GReddy Pipes)
GReddy Intake Manifold (replica)
Stock Turbo @ 12PSI
Walbro Fuel Pump
GReddy Pulleys
Blitz Boost Contoller
GReddy BOV

I am hoping for 270 rwhp, not sure I am going to make it.

I attached a pick of the work so far. Do you think the HKS Stage 1 264 Cam would be a good addition? I want to make HP by being efficient rather than just throwing boost at it. I am also looking to get the Alum Driveshaft I bet that makes a big difference.

nice clean swap. At that setup, unless you want to boost over 1bar, I don't think you can get 270hp. I think 14-16psi depending on gas can get you that 270whp. Usually ppl get 220rwhp with fmic and basic upgrades running 12psi. So with say pulley, intake, etc... yea 14-16psi

They are Sport Max Wheels. 4x114 35mm

18x8.5 Front 225/40 18
18x9.5 Rear 265/35 18

Love em. Ever since I got them a whole new breed of car wants to race. Stang, 350Z, WS6 ....... they see 10.5" of tire in the back with a 3.25" lip and they figure I'm worth racing.

I post some pic's later.

So if I bump it to 1 bar, I have a decent chance of hitting 270. Ok,.. so will my stock injectors / MAF do the job? I know I have seen Mines ecu's tuned for 1.1 bar on stock turbo / maf / injectors.

I have a set of S15 480cc injectors and a old school SAFC I. Will I need them for 14.67 psi? I think 14.67 is 1 bar anway.

Thanks let me know what you think.

Nice paint job too.

I think you'll do 240-250whp with that setup. you'll need to upgrade the injectors and mafs and get at least a safc2 to control the increased air/fuel. I'm at stock boost with those upgrades and my s14sr put down 211whp

I just got my s13 redtop SR20DET dynoed,

I have: HKS FMIC, downpipe, apexi n1 catback, Greddy BC, SAFC-II, intake, Koyo performance radiator, walbro fuel pump, I got a sentra SE-R MAF put in because i was running the stock 240 MAF.

It's been in the shop for about a week and they just called to say it ran ~200 on the dyno,
I was definitely hoping for more but I forgot to ask them what boost they were running.

You are not going to hit 270 whp on stock injectors. I can gaurantee it.

The turbo/Maf/injectors ALL run out at around 250 whp. If you have a VERY generous dyno you can hit over 250, but in reality you cant go over 250 w/ those mods. Your lookin at about 240 WHP on 1 bar of boost.

someone local to me did 273WHP on his S13 blacktop. stock turbo, injectors and all. upgrades were intake, exhaust, FMIC lots of boost and an E-manage IIRC.

I dont think you'll have enough fuel to run 270whp. Those stock 370's are only good for a 'safe' 240-250 at the wheels. I would just throw in the bigger injectors if you have em, get an safc2 ($200 or so) and then go back to the dyno, then you'll have the fuel to go up to 16psi or so, and then you'll be about 270whp mark. Also, what made you ditch the ka-t and go sr? Just curious...good luck with the project

I jumped ship on the KAT because of availability/price of parts and tuning knowledge. The price of a basic turbo setup is what I paid for my swap and they are at somewhat similar hp. There are a few KAT heroes out there but they spend serious time with trial and error on their setups. Plus most dyno shops in the Tampa Orlando area don't have much experience with the KAT.

I heard the stock turbo is worthless above 14 PSI?

Is it a T25 or T28 ? If a T25 I would upgrade to something larger T-28 can run around 16psi but is past its efficency range.
