I was just wondering if anyone knows what is happening to my clutch. When I'm in first gear it doesn't seem to grab as well as it used to. Before it would grab really fast, but now it feels like the car is dying out and then grab. This only happens in first gear, but the rest of the shifting seems fine. Any help will be appreciated.

I have the same problem as well every now and then and at first i thought it was my clutch, but then i had it replaced and it still did the same thing so it might have somehthing to do with other then the clutch. Fan belts maybe??

Add me to the list. Been trying to find out for a while now. After it warms up it runs like shit. Almost dies in first when i launch, and lacks power for the most part. Can't seem to find the answers.......

I'm no rocket scientest (yet) but it sounds to me like your clutch's are slipping...
How old is your clutch? How hard do you drive your cars?
Here's how to check...
Put the emergency brake on...
Select 5th gear.
Try and move the car forward by slowly releasing the clutch.
A good clutch should hook up immediatly and stall the engine.
If its slipping it could potentially let the car idle with the clutch pedal fully depresed...
hope this helps...

I just got my clutch master cylinder and slave changed. It seemed that it I had leaks in two of them. Right now my car seems fine... my car doesn't feel like dying out. Maybe that's the problem that you guys are having. I'm not too sure though. Inspect to see if you have leaks in the cylinders.
