I want a new cell phone. You think I should get one off ebay? or just get one at the place. What is the cheapest phone with a memory stick to save my phone numbers? I just lost all my numbers on my shitty phone.

unless its a simcard phone then you're not going to get a memory stick to save your numbers on. if it is a simcard phone you can probably get one for free if its with a plan or for around $100 elsewise.

if you have verizon they don't do simcard phones, not sure which companies do other than nextel, I know a couple do but not sure which ones.... if you want a memory stick phone I have the motorola v710, supports bluetooth, camera, video, mobile web version 2, etc. its basically the most advanced verizon phone you can get w/o buying a "smartphone" but you're easily paying $300 for it. you can put a trans-flash memory card in it which is $35 from circuit city and you can transfer pictures between it and your computer, and you can transfer mp3's to use as ringers as well and some other stuff I don't really do... I'd definitely reccomend it if you are looking for a new phone you plan on keeping for a while and want something that's real high quality and does a lot of stuff

Sprint doesn't have a sim either. At&t, Cingular, T-mobile, and Metro all have sim cards. Am I missing any other companies?

you can get it off ebay. Lot of people selling phones in ebay with great prices because

1) the phone had claimed lost with insurance
2) cell phone employee jacked the extra phone was not in the inventory list

I see this happen all the time in southern cali

you may consider about sony ericsson T616. it is very reliable with reasonable price.

cool thanks for the input guys. i do have verizon so i guess i wont get a sim card. i just bought there 10 dollar phone and it broke on me the first day! so i am looking for an upgrade. i will look into the motorola i guess.

i been looking to replace my t720i (my first phone 2 years ago) that i paid like 200 something on it, just to see them offer it for free a few months later.. ugh! but i dont really want to spend alot of cash on one right now.

the reason I'm sketchy on buying a phone of of ebay is if it was reported as lost/stolen to insurance then the esn number (the number that is used to id the phone in the network, think ip address) is reported as a stolen phone and verizon WILL NOT reactivate it.

I've had my 8890 for years!!! It's as simple as simple gets.

I think you should go out and window shop..till you find one that fits you..then go on ebay and find it for cheaper from a reptuable seller. :keke:

yah when i got my phone when i was 18.. i thought it was soo dope, cuz it was like one of the first color flip camera phones... and id show it off.. now everyone has one so it kinda sucks..

You can also get a data cable for cheap off ebay and transfer the info off your phone onto your computer. I did this and have all my #'s backed up and such. Not sure if this is what you were looking to do.
