and the last picture explanation, i took 5 different angle pics to show this damage as the scratches dont' even go past the clear coat, they can be wetsanded right off. i don't trust an idiot like myself with any kind of sanding near vs-kf so i left it alone. its very unnoticeable but if i didn't point out everything wrong with these wheels i'd feel like a total cock.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v338/kidnrg/DSCN1025.jpg
as you guys can tell the rims are very dirty. car isn't my daily driver so they've sat for the last 2-3 days in rain. i'll be glad to give her a bath and snap some pics for you guys if you really need them.

How do they fit front and rear as far as flushness? Did you have to pull the rear fenders for clearance? Are you willing to ship to Canada? Thanks.

i guess you don't know. the question you need to ask is "how big of a spacer do i need to run to make these look half decent???"

25 bolt on front
16mm of plates in back was my setup.

My 17x8 +25 fronts might suck but it's still better than those shitty offsets. No wonder you are selling them. Spacers are a lame fix for not buying the proper offsets in the first place. It cuts into the lip depth. Anyway, someone should buy them. Good luck

right and this post has nothign to do with the sale, rather downing his wheels, so why post? the only thing good about it is the sentence in bold, and still has nothing ot do with the sale.
he bought the wheels used, now wouldnt u think he would buy the right offset if he bought them brand new?

dude get out of here with that shit. nobody wants your stupid crackerjack cast honda accord offset wheels. it cuts into the lip depth? 57c is like one of the worst wheels for cheater lip ever. thats like saying a +40 sa3r has a 5 inch lip. who cares, it still sucks. just like 17x8 +25 sucks. just like oem aero sucks. just like having jdm badging sucks. just like having subs in your car sucks.

haha thanks for the kind words guys :) i did buy the wheels used as posted above so i couldn't choose the offsets. on the next wheels, extreme sizes are guaranteed. i'm feelin 17x8 +35 fronts 18x8 +25 rears, s14srpilot style all the way boyeeeeeee!

wow. how in the hell did you pull that off? long wheel bolts I hope? if so, how many full turns on the lugnuts were you able to get?
Johny5
04-26-2005, 01:55 PM
9-10 full turns. i roll nismo 60mm studs all around in case i only need plates, but for those certain instances i bolt my 25mm bolt-ons onto the 60s, sometimes with a plate between the rotor hat and the bolt-on. depends on how hard i wanna park it.
zenkiticks
04-26-2005, 01:58 PM
just because i don't feel like walking down all those steps to the garage, taking my wheel off, and measuring, how much longer than stock are the nismo wheel bolts?
Johny5
04-26-2005, 02:30 PM
well, with stock a 5mm plate is pushing it, with nismo 60s, i can fit a 20mm plate safely. so lets guesstimate about 20-25mm longer. hth!
zenkiticks
04-26-2005, 02:43 PM
well, that should be cheaper than two sets of spacers anyways....
Johny5
04-26-2005, 02:59 PM
yeah, but like i said, these wheels are being sold included with a pair of +25mm spacers, can throw 4 8mm plates in with it too, but you guys gotta get he 60mm studs. $60 for rear 10 iirc.

hahaha you have GOT to be kidding! There is no way in hell that I would ever be butt hurt by the likes of chmerser, cris420 or wannabe silviadriver. The reason for my apology was for jacking the thread. It takes a man to fess up when he realizes that he made a mistake, but only weaksauce pussies take cheap shots at people who try to come correct. Dream on...
BTW I don't wanna jack this thread anymore so bump for a set of work vs-kf wheels
SilviaDriver
04-30-2005, 03:04 PM
wannabe? hahha ive been around before you even knew was RWD was. you wouldnt have to try n "be a man" if you didnt make a stupid mistake in the first place right? so dont come all up in here saying you are a "bigger" person by saying sorry.
saying sorry doesnt cover up the following:
1. you being a man
2. how stupid you made urself look in this thread
3. your wheels.
end game.

i guess you don't know. the question you need to ask is "how big of a spacer do i need to run to make these look half decent???"
HAHAAHAH.
I find it extremely amusing that people are bagging on the seller of the wheels.... when they are talking nonsense.
"halfway decent" is something that cannot be judged for each car. Just for everyone's info:
On S13:
- The fitment would be almost perfect front/rear. At most, rear minor rolling of fender, tire selection does NOT have to be stretched. Front might not work with coilovers like Zeal, but will work with JIC or ones with better lower bracket clearance. Ask Aaron (Dousan) about this, he did his research already.
- Will NOT need any spacers. Unless you want stretched look with super camber.
On S14:
- Fitment will actually allow good tire choices, especially if you run "normal" tire or want more meat on the tires. No fender mods AT ALL.
I really don't get why people are dissing him on the offset of the wheels when they are fine. I understand some people want it to be "flush" but even the definition of "flush" varies from person to person... and car to car. It would be almost pointless to say what is flush and what isn't, without any knowledge of tire size, alignment specs, fender mods (if any), etc.
And if anyone wants to argue wheel setups with me, I'm game. I've been in the industry long enough to know my wheels... ESPECIALLY WORK WHEELS.
Just ask Jay (CleanS14). HAHAHAHAAH.

ANyhow, Here's another fast bump, because the seller is selling a decent set of wheels for a decent price, WITH DECENT OFFSET.
If you want extreme offset you can always go order a new set of VS-KF. With Golden Week this week in Japan, you can be lucky if you see your wheels before AUGUST or SEPTEMBER.

i agree with Mav1178, people these days are going a little too far with low offset wheels, there are people out there who prefer a little higher offset (30's in the rear) like myself inorder to fit wider tires(275's +) without having to do an extreme fender pull or wide fenders

HAHAAHAH.
I find it extremely amusing that people are bagging on the seller of the wheels.... when they are talking nonsense
If you believe everything you just wrote below this statement, then what you quoted zenkiticks saying is not nonsence. You can't have it both ways and say, everyone has their own personal opinionto what looks right, and then call someone an idiot for saying what he thinks looks right.
No one is doubting your "ALL KNOWINGNESS" of work wheels. Nor does anyone really care how much you know about them, becuase it is quite frankly irrelevent.
I like the wheels, personally I ordered mine in a much lower offset, but that's just because I think they look better with a bigger lip.
How much tire is a "decent size" tire? lol
Anyway, Jonny you know I love the wheels :-) Goodluck selling them and BUMP.

Unless you're making over 500whp i don't see why you need that big of a tire (275+++) I mean @ 300-400hp 245-255's are fine (what I ran @ 350whp) and you can still run a fairly low offset with just a roll on s14's.

you're retarded. don't be so quick so quick to play your "omniscient" card(s). the guy said he would've picked lower offsets had he bought them new. if you read the entire thread, i was merely helping someone else figure out that the wheels may fit differently on his/her vehilce due to the fact that the seller uses spacers. a little sarcasm? yea, who cares, and the seller agreed.

245-255 was not enough at near 300rwhp, my new setup should be near 400rwhp, so having decent traction would be nice
