yes , you should always purchase new pads when putting on new rotors , or even if you just get your rotors turned , get new pads either way .

if you want to upgrade pads, buy new now.

if you are just getting oem or whatever again, screw it.

I got oem brembo cross drilled rotors. think they're worthy of new pads?

i think pads are so cheap you should def put them in.

get some nice easy street pads like hawk hps or something.

don't forget the bleed!

You can use old pads on new rotors, or old rotors with new pads. Whats the worst thats going to happen? The pad wears wrong? lols.

I know... What's up with that. Just put in some new Project Mu D1 rear and NS street/race front pads in without resurfacing the rotor. WOW don't listen to the brake shop's BS that resurface ur rotor when changing pads or get new pads when get new rotor... Put it this way. When they say that what they really mean is "Yea put ur money in my pocket when you want to get pads and rotor" lol...

It comes down to making the surface of the pad the same as the surface of the rotor. If they both start out flat, then they will wear together.

I've tossed on new pads on old rotors as a temporary measure, and quite frankly, once the pads "reshape" to the rotors, they'll be fine. It's just not ideal.

If you have good pads, and you don't want to throw them out, then just reuse them.

i agree with importnut. If the pads are from past rotors that were warped then you should get new pads, pads are very inexpensive, why risk the smallest chance of a problem in the future and just spend those bucks on some new pads then spending time and turning rotors and other sercive parts.
