After driving a while in my 240 I realized that I really don't like the shift knob it completely sucks. I looked around on the net to see if I can find a Nismo one but I can't. Do they even make one? So I know most of you guys threw away your stock knobs and got something else so let me hear your opinions on what one is the best looking and the most comfortable.

I have a MOMO cobra style shift knob, I think it looks good. It's all about what you thinks looks good.

Nismo makes a couple of shift nobs. The one I want was featured in Option video 34. It so cool but I cannot seem to find it state side. I currently have a couple people seeing if they can get me one.
I have been using the greddy shift nob and I love it. It is really nice.

Head on down to the local Auto Zone and pick yourself up one of those light-up plastic knobs. . that's the way to go.

I have a nismo leather shift knob that I picked up from IPNmotorsports.com
It looks really good but I don't like the feel.
I'd say go to autosupermart.com and pick up a nice sparco knob.

minte was stubborn.. but i just held the actual metal shifter with one hand, grabbed the rubbery shifter knob with the other and twisted with about 90% of my strength before it started unscrewing.. once u get it started.. it's not to bad

you've got to be kidding me.......the stock one is junk, the thing's friggin vinyl/plastic and it shakes all over the place like a stinkin vibrator, the shift knob was the first thing i replaced cause i hated it so much

Yeah, Stock knob = CRAP! I have the B&M short shift, it came with its own knob. Its a round alum. ball I dont really like it that much. But I have not really looked for one yet. I want one that will screw on, but i dont think I will find one that will match the threads.

Personally, I hate everything about the stock knob. I think i'm going to go with a MOMO race airleather.

I agree the stock knob is total trash, but I'm actually using it now instead of the nismo one. Nismo was just too little. I was thinking about the race airleather but the ball just seemed a little TOO big.

I have the Grex Trust shift knob-it is threaded and has a great design plus it is weighted. When installed it looks lower
than the stock. This in my opinion is the best design
www.optauto.com has it.

i had a momo shift knob, i think it's an discontinued model, it was pure leather, w/ stiching. i really liked it, till the bolts started coming apart, then i swapped back to the stock one, i have to say i like the stock one better, i guess it's cause the momo one was dieing...

I don't know why people buy metal shift knobs - they get cold in the winter time!
The OEM shifter is OK, but I prefer leather!
