Anyone experience loud clunking with these coilovers. I've triple-checked all the bolts and they are secure and tightened to spec, but I still get some random clunking in the front.

Do you have preload on the springs, or is there sag? I have 2mm of sag right now for ride comfort, and if I hit a big bump, the front coilovers make noise, partially because of the sag, partially because the fronts are inverted.
I am going to set some preload on my springs, meaning raise the upper collar until the springs don't have any play between collar and pillow mount. This will give the springs a little higher spring rate and reduce the fronts from bottoming out on big bumps.
Either slow down a little more on the bumps, or set some decent preload on the front coilovers, and it should help a little :2f2f: You're not having a clunking noise on the rear too, are you? It should only be on the front. Good luck.

Only in the front. I have zero preload. The front springs are snug between the collar and pillow mount.

Ok, then I think we're stuck with this clunking sound. I run around 5 up front for shock setting. Rear is at 4.
I may try 6 up front (stiffer) and of course going to set some preload on the front springs.
Mine only makes the noise if I hit a decent size bump, how about yours?

That sounds about the same as mine. Does the fact that one of the two large strut bolt holes are slotted make a difference at all? I've noticed other coilovers don't have slotted holes.
