i was watching it yesterday (dont ask why...cause i wont have an answer) and i was by the part where they break into tranns garage and are lookin at the civics which have no engines. &nbsp;then tran and his tight pants wearing homos come in and start harrassin bob the mechanic. &nbsp;and tran starts talkin about how the civics dont have engines the week before "race wars" and he says a couple of nissan sr20 motors will run a high price (not in exact words) the week before race wars. &nbsp;AH HAH! &nbsp; <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':crazy:'> &nbsp; so like...did anyone know about this already or did i find something out new?

Btw guys. As for 240s in the movie.... I watched a movie again just yesteddy on my crappy computer screen, and it's hard to see.... but before the first race, the asian guy that is playing a racing game.... isn't that a 240 he is driving there?? Just wondering, cuz it's kinda hard to see on my screen :/

Nope it's a silver 3000gt, or GTO, as they're called in the game.
As for the sr20 line in the movie, I caught it the second time I watched it. I was on a date the first time I watched it so I probably missed that part <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':look:'>

I've decided never to go to the movies on a date unless it's with a girlfriend that i've been with for a while. Reason being that if I go to the movies, i'm going to watch the freaking movie. I just can't help myself. Besides, it's not the type of place where you can really get to know each other... I say go mini-golfing, or go to a (classy) pool hall.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this one but in the race wars scene when Letty is racing that 7, her seats change from Sparco racing seats then back to the stock seats when they start the race. &nbsp;Look closely, you'll see.

I watched that movie with a couple friends.... &nbsp;i ruined the whole movie for them... couldn't go a minute without pointing out something wrong or stupid.

I think the even dumber thing to point out is what was the point of that whole scene?!! like Tran was screaming at the mechanic about missing engines and made him drink oil.. And they like never went back to that, or explained what the hell was going down, or why the mech was getting pimped around... that whole shit was pointless...

I hate F&F threads there so dumb... i have very mixed feeling about F&F, i'm not a hater so i will watch a movie jus to see cool stuff happen, or see nice cars...(jus like watchin a import car show movie) but i understand why everyone is bitching about the movies sillyness too...

I'll put it like this, if they really made a movie 100% accurate to the import scene it would be &nbsp;BORING, OVER TOO MANY PEOPLES HEADS, THE RACE SCENCE WOULD ONLY LAST 11-16 SECONDS, AND IT WOULD BE LAME OVERALL, AND JA-RULE would have had even less lines then did in this one....they jus really f-ed up with the simple logic of some things.. but like i said i got mixed feeling about it, i thought the opening scene kinda grabbed you and mad you wonder what the hell.. then when i seen the green eclispes i was like Sweeeet, ect.. ect... basically i think if you went into the movie looking to hate on it , then you did jus that hated it, cuz it was a easy target... if you went in to the movie like me (jus looking to see a cool flix) then i think you left jus alil disappointed.....

I'll give them credit for this though, i remember before the movie was out and people were talking about it bitching saying "Oh its gonna be all altezzas, and civics, and be completely dumb" ... Well they did a good job, cuz i think i only seen 1 pair of altezzas, the Supra was the main car, not to mention the rest of the gangs cars (a skyline,240, and jetta... anyway civics really do make up alotta the importscence but whateva.. they did a good job giving them the back seat) , and the movie finished good, atleast i thought so, i didn't expect it to have a meaning and the dude keeping to his word sayin he owned him a 10sec car.....
but whateva man, i'm bored and jus puttin on doing my school work so...peace peace

Well, if the movie itself was good we could ignore the technical flaws, but it wasn't. &nbsp;A car movie not based on cars (as the movie was, in reality, not based on cars, or driving for that matter, just set in a car-filled enviornment) with a bad plot would have SOMETHING in it, but it doesn't. &nbsp;The point of this movie = catch whoever's jacking trucks. &nbsp;Godforbid the movie had a point to it like a GOOD car movie (stealing cars, racing across the country for a million beans, playing tag with cops so your 18 wheeler won't get pulled over... etc). &nbsp;Even then, the detective work was crap, the story was crap, and the bad guys win because the main character has a small penis (note how the guys who are violent (asian gang) have a reason to be?? since they actually get dicked around and cheated on (Toretto screws Tran in a business deal and sleeps w/ Tran's sister, engine dealer doesn't deliver the engines [dammit, YOU'D be mad if some guy on ebay screwed you off of a couple SR's, wouldn't you]?? &nbsp;while one of the supposed main characters is generally unprovoked[aside from his father being killed in a race... where accidents DO happen]??).

Put simply, the chase scene in Who Am I? had better cars, better driving, and more of a plot.
