I need to swap an s13 diff pumpkin w/ my s15 HLSD in it onto my S14...and the fuckin' drive shaft bolts are STUCK like a mofo.

So anyone with, i dunno...air tools or other crap think they can help and has some time wanna help me out? I'll pay, i dunno what I can scrounge up, liike $80 or so (I know its alot more at a shop...but I'm not rich)

Or

Recommend a shop that will swap diff pumpkins for cheap? Local place wants $500 for 6.5 hours of labor!!!

yeah...a breaker bar should work...add alil WD-40, let it sit for like 5 min and give it a try...if your in davis, i have friends up there and i can swing by sometime either on friday or saturdays...and loan you a breakerbar...

there isn't room to get a socket on there, there's alot of crap around the drive shaft that would restrict access to the bolt/nut. I have a breaker bar.

Yeah, I"m in Davis.

hmmm...i say get some wd-40 and then do the double wrench it to get more torque...

Don't use a ratchet, use a boxed end wrench.

i shot the hell out of it with pb blaster, but when I did that I only had one wrench on me (had left friends house already, so only one set of tools).

Tried WD40 as well...its not rust, it can't be rust because the driveshaft isn't that old.

now that I think about it, I had my 5spd swap not that long ago, the shop had probably torqued all the bolts recently

When I helped on my friends S13, the bolts were pretty easy in comparison

u can always use a torch not to melt it... but to heat it up and break it loose... use 2 open end wrenches so on and so on.... grunt muscle power man... dont strip it tho..
