Car belongs to Rock, very cool guy and extremely detailed in his work. His last car was so clean you couldn't tell it was switched over without serious inspection.

:werd: Is it possible to do that on a drum ebrake assembly? Is it purely hydraulic or hydraulic/cable? I really want to do this to my car so I can have an even stronger ebrake as well as be able to move my Brix closer to the transmission tunnel without having the bolsters bump into my ebrake. It bothers me to be sitting a little to the left of the center of the steering wheel.

And it seems to have a whole shitload of problems:The car has a few dings on it, has a dent where a tire blew up on the under side of the rear quarter, and it can use a new paint job. There is a little bit of rust on a corner of the windshield frame, and a little around the trunk area, it just needs a little rust converter and paint as it is surface rust. Its defiantly not a concourse ready car, but with a little love would make an amazing show or race project car. It would be a perfect car with a set of coil overs and some minor body work and paint (can you find a S14 anymore that dosent need these things?).

The car has the RHD ABS unit installed in it, but the control unit wiring is not hooked up, I would imagine it will be a pain to wire as the control unit is in the rear of the car. The factory LHD control unit is there so it may be possible without extra parts.

To make the AC work it needs a set of factory softlines (no need to cut and splice as its on the correct side), a dryer unit ($50) and a R-134 charge. I lost the softlines while moving my office. I would imagine they are not too hard to get. It is completely wired up with the factory JDM wiring and ready to go.

It needs a set of Hub rings for the cobra wheels, 66.06 to 70.1 MM, I cannot find these anywhere online and will have to be custom made. I was quoted $100 to have them made. The cobra wheels will vibrate at 100-120kph, I dont drive on the freeway to work so its not been a problem and has been put on the back burner. It will ride fine on the Stock SE wheels.

The Steering wheel air bag is not hooked up, The 1997 japanese Silvia donor clip did not have a passager side air bag, so essentially the car has no airbags.

The horn does not work, neither does the gas gauge. both just need wiring. The low gas light works and im always in the city, so I havent messed with it.

The CNC ebrake needs to be rebuilt (kit avail from CNC). It was pulled many times while out of the car with no fluid and the seals are bad.

I've never flamed anyone for wanting to a RHD, that's their call and they can do whatever they feel. I flame those who ask stupid questions about it, like the kid who tried to weld an S13 front clip onto his S14, or the guy who worried his suspension wouldn't bolt up anymore. Same as if they wanted to a motor swap, bolt in different seats, etc., they get flamed for ignorance about the topic, not the topic itself.
