rb26dett long block, rb25det tranny.....

Ok i bought a sr20det engine from my friend but he decided to keep it and gave me an rb26dett long block and rb25det tranny. Im not sure how much its worth but im selling it. I also have a new greddy rs bov for sale. Im currently stationed in little rock, arkansas so i cant really get in detail with the engine and stuff yet. But all parts are located in Tempe, arizona.

To whoever read this post. Whats a resonable price for long block and tranny seperate so i can get a ballpark to how much i should sell it for Thanx in advance

Tranny is worth about $500 depends on condition. The long block is not worth much unless it says 24U on the block. In that case you have yourself a N1 block which is worth some $$$. The reason the long block is not worth much is because most RB26 owners upgrade to the N1 block which I described.

mckinney is selling an rb25det tranny for 1200? Is 500 a lil off?

I can get a H9 R33 RB25DET tranny from my engine supplier for $600... so... I guess depends on the year of that tranny....

Also, the guys who purchase the RB25DET conversion probably would have bought a M/T version for them to swap complete. And since this tranny is super strong, most likely they don't need to purchase another one. Only the guys who's doing the RB26DETT swap will be needing this item. There's not a lot of 240sx out there doing RB26DETT swaps(Price is simply too high for RB26DETT), so, it's probably hard to get rid of.... I don't mean to be rude and ... I'm one of those few guys with the RB26DETT that needs this tranny, hrhr. If you want to get rid of it, let me know... but if you're charging higher than my supplier.... good luck selling it ^^
