i am in a bit of a predicament and i was wondering what you guys would do if you were in my shoes. here's the problem: my 240 is out of commission (blown motor), and i really wanna drive it again. but im not sure what to do. i have $2800 and here are my options:
#1) go SR- i could get a front clip and install it with the help of a few of my dad's mechanic friends. but with this i'll have a completely stock car (even the stock steelies) with the SR. it would be one helluva sleeper <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sleeping.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':zzzz:'> . then save up for rims/tires suspension later.
#2) get a used KA- this would be considerably cheaper only about $500. i could spend the rest on rims/tires suspension and make the car look real damn good. but there isn't a KA within a hundred miles with less than 100,000 miles on it, so i would eventually be swapping to SR anyway. seems like a waste of cash to buy a motor that im gonna replace.
i am leaning towards getting the SR. Please help me out with opinions/suggestions!!! Thank you all!
