damn it's been a while since i've been here. alot have change. the forums looks a lot better. anyhow...some mofo stole my s13 and literally took everything..my super special sound system and alot of other things...i was piss as hell and was ready to kill....but i thought about it and the insurance said it was a old car so they were going to have it as a "total loss" so they are going to give me what i pay for it which was about 4900 dollars....so i'd figure i'd go grab me a 98 240...my main question is that...does the 98 240 have that timing chain tensioner problem that the older ka24 engine had.?..thats my only concern..with my s13 i saved up enuff money from working and i was going to do a engine swap to the newer ka24...cause i didn't want to fix the timing chain problem...i didn't want to do the GOD LIKE swap with the SR20 because of smog laws and i live in Kali, i know there are backdoors of getting around it but damn i don't want the hassle of that...i was seriously thinking about a (don't laff) acura integra GS-R but when i really think about it..i miss my S13 RWD, the torque, and mostly the "being different" part...please someone let me know if there is a problem with the timing chain or any other problem that would arise?...
