if you're making fun of the z06 and the best you can come up with is "plastic interior" than thats saying something about the awesomeness of the car. If i was 25 and had cheaper insurance i'd be putting the downpayment on a z06 right now. a used one goes for about 27-30k with decent milage, even new at 45-50k there is nothing that matches it's bang for the buck. And don't say 240sx with built suspension and motor. A fully modified 240sx is still not a supercar.

I'll raise my hand, but only because I couldn't stand being in a Z06 for any extended period of time. I'm too short and skinny for a car built for the average american (but that didn't stop me from hauling ballz!). I had horrid visibility and felt dwarfed in the cockpit (cuz that thing is more plane than car)

Performance wise, yah, you're dillusional if you think any S-chassis can match $ for $.

Could I afford one? Sure. Could I justify the rediculous insurance to my wife... probably not ;) No Z06 for me :P

hey cholo if i were gunna spend 50 grand on a sports car i wouldnt buy a fucking vette, id buy a porsche, a lotus, or something exotic with substance.

if it comes to a $2000 car then s13 hell yes,

you didnt get the point i was trying to make, when you pay $2000 for a car plastic stuff is expected and quality is not put as high as driveability.

when you spend $50,000 or $100,000 you want quality all around, now the vette = its nice, expensive, but they still stick to their plastic interiors and tend to put quality last.

and it is pretty obvious that foreign sports cars tend to have higher quality shizit...

I like the guys talking trash about the Z06. I'm sorry, but the Z06 interior is nicer than my S13 interior! My friend here just got an '01 Z06 a few months ago. He paid $26k for it. He put on a set of headers and an intake dyno'd 375 rwhp 379 tq and ran 12.7 @ 115. The bang for the buck is hard to match.
