A buddy of mine is pulling an N/A 2JZ out of his Supra and going for the TT swap. He said I can have the engine, tranny and ECU free. Anyone have any info on this swap? I know someone in the SoCal area has done these, but I can't find any links, etc... Anyone know what's involved? (custom mounts, etc.)?

sounds like a feasible plan if the thing doesn't weigh a ton (which i think it does)

also exhaust.... its gotta go from pass.. to the driver side...
not worth it..... unless your good with custom of what is said above.... iv wired a 1jz before.... (the tru TT jz).... and it was easy... i could do it to a nissan.... but that other shit would be some work..... good luck if you decide to do it.... and more power to you...

The mounts arnt that bad since they are very similar to the 240's. My freind with 240z and needs a rear sump (supra), you need a front sump (Aristo). May be you guys can exchange.

Take the motor/tranny/ecu for free and sell it and use the money for something else. GG.

im planning on doing a Supra NA drift car. You can pull decent power out of these. Some guy on supra forums pulled out 225 to the wheels with bolt ons and tuning and alittle tricks here and there and that was out of the power robbing automatic tranny. he coulda easily got 230+ on a 5 speed. the 2jz sounds bad specially boucning offthe rev limiter. I say give it a try you are getting the engine and tranny free right ? jsut think of the fab money to install as a price for a sr with replacement parts etc
