This month they had the special edition and it was almost %75 about drifting. Dammit... EA Games is sponsoring some events as well as Circut City which means more 16 year olds trying to drift.

It also said that the 240sx is now the official number one car with enthusiast having the Civic in 2nd place on the SEMA... dont remeber what. I dont want to see any more 240sx getting banged up because of some noobie who crashes it. :rant2:

Yeah... its the most popular tuner car but its slowing down because they are no longer in production and falling out of favor outside of drifting.

the big age insult thing is because the majority of the zilvia people that have been around for a while have seen the whole civic bandwagon thing and are just seeing it happening here now. most of us got our 240's because we didn't want to be just another person with a civic but thats what's happening now.

well lets put it this way, I have wanted a 180sx for like 2 years and I have been into drifting and getting cars sideways befor I even knew what it was.. used to be a huge rally fan untill I came across drifitng

Im not really bitching about it but from what i've seen... its not pretty. I have 2 friends which are 16 and have a 240sx. Both of those 240sx are in junkyard now its not that bad for me since i can have some extra parts lying around. Otherwise im not bitching about it im just saying that a popular ricer magazine is publishing a lot about drifting.

Really all i was trying to apply is that 240sx are going to be hard to find and are going to be too overpriced to even afford. I been wanting to buy a s13 for a while but the locals here think s13 are worth 2x what NADA says. I love drifting and a lot of people start some way or another. But when you still dont even have a car and the first thing you do when you get it is try to drift it around a corner then hit a pole... people will stop having respect for the true 240sx community.

They should just keep civics on it so ricers can keep on trying to race saturns and get their asses handed to them instead of street drifting and crashing.

when i got my car 2 years ago ppl called me a bandwagon jumper and a drifter wannabe etc. they said ppl like me would be the death of 240sx's, and prices would rise skyhigh, blah blah blah.

nothing has changed. i still see s13s go for 2000 dollars. i dont see s14s costing 10k (unless its a 98). hell, i still see alot of old ladies driving s14s around.

240sx is not a 'cool' car. anyone who has the money has the right to buy one. anyone who owns one has the right to crash it into anything they want. nobody gives a shit about the 'community.' what community? you think just b/c i have a 240sx and some other kid has a 240sx we have to be friends? i don't give 2 shits wtf he does with his car.

if you're worried your car isn't cool anymore b/c people see it as the new civic, then sell the 240sx and move on to the next trend.

Lol nah i know that but just see... back then no one knew what drifting was. I know a lot of people that go by what they read. I showed one of my friends Modified Mag who had a 300zx and he wanted to trade it for my 240sx.

how can a civic be less popular than a 240sx. that was the thing back in the day. i never own one , but my friends they love theirs still. they arent that bad. but anyways. there was what? 10 years of 240sx with only 250,000ish 240sx ever which is about the same amount or less than the numberss of civic produce in one year. only so much can jump on the bandwagon. i cant wait till 240sx become a classic because of all the beat up or totaled 240sx to come

im building a shed to store all the extra KA's and misc. engine parts that i will rebuild to new ''working'' condition... so i can enjoy my 240 for the rest of my life....... ( drifta's & tuners :rl: )
