Chassis has indicated 175k miles on her... but I bought her with a blown motor and swapped it out with a lower mileage KA24 so I could use it as a daily driver. Motor from a local reputable nissan junkyard was claimed to have around 100k miles on it.
It burns a bit of oil, but nonetheless, I change it every 3k miles religiously.
Extras:
It has a 3" catback with N1-style muffler exit. Looks very nice. It has one sub muffler and then the N1-style muffler so its not TOO loud.... comes with a silencer too.
I have a 3" SR20 downpipe that will go with it. I was originally going to use it for an SR20 swap but financial constraints eliminated that option. I also have a DSM Blow-off valve that I'll toss in.
The interior was originally brown and nasty... torn up like the motor :)
Well I pulled EVERYTHING out. I swapped in a black interior. A very good condition dash, changed over to the more durable 89-90 tweed carpet, changed the seats, body panels (the ones i could, painted the rest with black interior paint), etc. Interior is in much better shape
I also have a very good condition set of *S14 seats* installed (and a driver-side manual belt, didnt have time to install the passenger side, but I still have it... and the auto-belt on that side works fine)...
Also has new shifter boot
I'm attempting to clean house with this sale, so I'll be tossing in my extra blown KA24 with it :) The cams and sprockets and injectors are gone, but otherwise good... would prolly fetch a couple hundred dollars (or nice to have for spare parts for rebuilds or core charges)
Only thing wrong on the dead motor is obviously the rod that got slung out the side of the block right above the oil pan behind the driverside motor mount.
Problems:
-Burns a bit of oil
-Has no radio, but still has speakers and all wiring, easy to fix
-Back belts disconnected, but still there... i intended to get a rear brace and would have had no use for them
-AC compressor not hooked up to belt system but is still connected to motor, easy enough to fix
-Radiator has a slight leak in it, needs brazing probably for an easy fix
-Rear speaker area has no carpet cover, easy enough to fix
This car is a BASE... yes that means its the LIGHTEST 240sx model :) It runs very well and reliably and gets great gas mileage. Pulls smoothly as it should and suspension feels as if its not shot...
I'm looking at $2.5k for this car, selling because I need to pay off some credit card biils quickly. Lexus will be my primary driver again.
If you have any questions, please ask. I'll have more pictures up soon when I can take some (hopefully it doesnt rain tomorrow too bad)
