two bald rear tires and no power steering belt!
"yeaaah, this is mike from firestone, your rear tires are showing belts, (my camber and toe was fixed recently, but i lowered my car without balancing and all that for 2 years, so fixing the camber and toe isn't going to magicly fix the worn tires), and...where is your power steering belt? it's like gone, the pulley and everything, do you have it? we can sell you one!"

ugh, how annoying. i had to explain i took it off for the hell of it and i have it at my house but i can come and put it back on in 2 minutes. then he said his certified inspector guy leaves in a few minutes and he couldn't check it. so now i can't go to my friend's lake house tonight because i had to be speed racer and take off my power steering belt to free up 5 hp. sumbitch. we'll see how the smog test goes tomorrow since i won't be partying tonight

Everyone has it really bad compared to Tennessee. All they do is get a mirror and look for you cat, run a low idle smog test, and check for a gas tank cap.
hell, my old VW wouldget 3 times the legal limit every year, so I would have the timing changed so I couldn't go over maybe 25mph, but man, my smog numbers would be so low
