I have been in contact with Microtech over the past 2 months. We have been working out the fine details on running this group buy; and here it is.

I was reluctant to post this until all the bumps were smoothed out. Finally, we are ready to roll!!! The deal is so amazing, I am still astonished.

This group buy is for Microtech Standalone EMS units and listed accessories.
All purchases come with a "Microtech Pack" that includes a small sticker, large sticker, and a Microtech EFI T-shirt!!!

Retail Value of the Hand Controller in this buy is $137 USD, Retail Value of the Laptop adaptor and software in this buy is $95 USD.

Step 2 How to get in on the group buy:
-----------------------------------------
All you need to do is send me an e-mail at [email protected]

All payments will be submitted directly to Microtech. I will not be handling the payments. I will put you in contact with Dale, an associate of Microtech EFI to handle the payments.
So far, we are ONLY accepting payments VIA PAYPAL.
If paypal is a problem for you, please contact me. I might be able to help you work it out.

We need a minimum of 10 people for this group buy to go through!!!
The cutoff date for this group buy is May 15th 2005. That gives everyone a little over 4 weeks to get money together, get questions answered, and get payment to Microtech!!

This group buy is open to anyone, not just members of this forum. So, if you know anybody who needs one of these amazing units, tell them about this great deal!

If anyone has any questions at all, please e-mail me. I do not check this thread or my PM as often as i check my e-mail. If you need, leave me a PM or a reply here and I will get back as soon as I possibly can.

Ok, i don't know if people are worried about reaching 10 purchases...

We already have around 7 or 8 buyers from the rx7 forums!!!

So if only one or two of you want this, we will be purchasing soon!

what junk! AEM EMS!!! AEM EMS!!!

The AEM EMS is a really cool unit :) a friend of mine has had some experience with it. He had some trouble getting support for it, but that was when it was relatively new.

Microtech isnt junk though! Its a very reliable and tuneable full standalone system.

definitely not junk......hmmm.......this is a fabulous price too......i'm rather interested in this.....i'll keep you posted

but i'm definitely going to need something so i can run 500whp

i also heard that MicroTech ECU setups come with the wiring harnesses already done up for your car??? is this true? if so then its an even better product that I thought it was

From what ive seen the harnesses do not come set up for your car, since they are universal. They do give you everything you need, and then (per application) certain parts of the harness get terminated

Microtech can easily go over 500rwhp... i dont think there is really any limitation on it, especially since they offer free software upgrades once you own the product. When they release the next version, you get the upgrade for free.

Let me know if you want in, we are almost ready to buy actually. I have well over 10 people, but not all payments are in yet.

The more the merrier!

what junk! AEM EMS!!! AEM EMS!!!

bullsahit have you ever even SEEN a microtech unit? I have and I love it and for HALF the cost of an AEM that does damn near everything it does you can't fucking beat it. Uses all your original sensors.

And not all are universal they have preprogramed base maps. (the SR specifically) The wiring the re is a car specific adaptor. the internal MAP sensor is good up to 25psi.

your coils will depend on which unit you run. the X units use the bosch coils. the others use your factory coils.

One Eye, how much for the four line dash unit?
